Our qualified and dedicated staff of structural engineers, designers, modelers and drafters work on a wide variety of captivating and challenging projects, from iconic Grand Canyon projects, landscape changing towers, and large residential buildings, to the smaller but just as important, tenant improvements, remodels and additions. No matter the size, our structural engineering staff provides consultation before designs begin to help select the right type of system for your project, whether that be concrete, steel, masonry, wood, post-tension, precast, light gage, etc. During the structural analysis and design of the project, we are conscientious of the quality and the economics of the design. During construction our staff works with the contractor to assist with any field issues that may arise.

We use the latest structural design software, including RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAFE, RISA 3D, RAM Concept., RAM Elements, Staad. We continually update our software library and evaluate new software as it becomes available.

We currently utilize AutoDesk REVIT to produce our construction documents.  By using REVIT, a building information modeling (BIM) software, Lochsa is able to collaborate more efficiently with the entire design team thus creating a better-coordinated set of design documents.
