This new standalone boutique resort marks a partnership between Caesars Entertainment and night life mogul Victor Drai, whose after-hours nightclub has been a mainstay at the former Bill’s Gambling’ Hall & Saloon location for the past 15 years.
This renovated and expanded property touts 188 guest rooms with 19 suites in a Parisian apartment-style theme and, with views unlike any other in the world, a 65,000 square-foot Drai’s Beach Club and Nightclub set alongside the property’s new rooftop pool. Also featured will be a 40,000 square-foot casino, a redesigned lobby bar, an ultra-lounge, 2nd floor feature restaurant, porte cochere entrance, and a 368 stall, three-level parking structure.
Lochsa Engineering provided structural and civil engineering services for the project that included extensive retrofitting and strengthening of the existing steel framing and concrete pile foundation system. Four steel stair tower cores and two elevator tower cores were constructed to help support the new rooftop club and pool levels that sit roughly 120-feet above the famed Las Vegas Strip.
Construction for this project started in 2012 and was completed in 2014. The approximate construction cost was $185 million (USD).
