The Forum Shops represents one of the most elaborate, detailed themed properties in the country.  The 304,000 square foot, Phase 3 Expansion is complementary to the existing Caesars Palace motif – architectural elements of ancient Rome dating between 300 B.C. and 300 A.D.

The exterior is based off the Italian Palazzo, and like the original, it has Corinthian columns, balustrades, entablatures and cornices.  Also featured is a scale replica of the Italian Trevi Fountain and Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s Triton Fountain.  A dramatic 130-foot wide by 100-foot high grand entrance invites foot traffic from Las Vegas Boulevard into the three-level shopping experience.

The exterior façade consists of structural steel framing, structural stud framing and exterior sheathing with a synthetic exterior plaster finish.  The façade undulates in and out along the exterior, sometimes as much as 6-feet at a time.  Because of the size and complexity of the façade, it required its own structural steel frame, which is built around and attaches to the Forum Shops shell structure, also designed by Lochsa Engineering.
