Lochsa Engineering assisted in the construction administration services for the Bridger Coal Mine expansion. Bridger Coal Co. has gradually expanded its 36 year-old Sweetwater County mine to include underground operations, in addition to its surface mines, making it the county’s largest coal operation.

Water clarification tanks are needed to treat “gray” water from the mining operation so that an acceptable quality level may be used in the on-site mechanical equipment cooling towers. The scope of work includes new building for chemical storage and pump coverage, in addition to an 80 diameter by 20’ high concrete clarifier tank system.
