Mr. Egerton’s decision to enter into the civil engineering profession was family directed. After picking up his older brother’s college physics book and understanding the material, it seemed that engineering was a natural fit.
Mr. Egerton began practicing civil engineering in Nevada in 1990 after graduating from the University of Idaho. In 1996, he joined the team at Lochsa Engineering. He has worked on site development in Clark County and in numerous locations throughout the state. This work includes management and design of various aspects of transportation projects including: Traffic Impact Studies, on-site circulation and striping plants, traffic signal design, parking studies, pedestrian studies, and off-site signage and striping, and transportation demand management plans. Mr. Egerton’s most notable work can be found along the Las Vegas Strip having contributed to a majority of the transportation master planning, studies, and parking/circulation planning found in the area.
With countless projects under his belt, it’s actually the incredible people met along the way that makes Mr. Egerton’s profession so memorable. Given the breath of his work with top casino/resort owners and talented design specialists, including architects and contractors, Mr. Egerton’s career is continually expanding.
